Starting Pediatric Therapy

1

Become familiar with developmental milestones

Treatment of developmental delays is more effective the earlier they are recognized. Learn more about developmental milestones below

2

Contact an Early Interventionist or Pediatrician

For children three and over, referrals typically come from a pediatrician or specialist. Speak with your pediatrician if you believe therapy could be of benefit.

For children under three years of age, a pediatrician or an early interventionist can provide a referral for therapy services. BabyNet is South Carolina’s interagency early-intervention network. Children enrolled in BabyNet will be assigned an early interventionist to coordinate therapies and monitor progress. Click the button below to get started with BabyNet

Therapy Referral

If appropriate, your EI or pediatrician will recommend your child for therapy services. We will collaborate with you and your EI to develop an appropriate plan of care, monitor progress, and achieve treatment goals.

You have the right to choose the therapy provider for your child. Click below for referral information for your EI or Pediatrician to start your child with Magnolia Therapy Group.
