Frequently Asked Questions

Will insurance cover therapy services?

We accept virtually all commercial insurances, as well as Medicare, Medicaid, and Worker’s compensation. Our staff will be happy to work with you to determine your eligibility and predict what therapy will cost for you or your child.

We also accept self-pay on a case by case basis, and can help set up a plan to make therapy affordable.

What is the difference between physical therapy and occupational therapy?

In short, physical therapy focuses on eliminating pain and restoring function and mobility throughout the body. Occupational therapy focuses largely on the skills a patient needs to live life as independently as possible, and often involves a neurological component. It is very common for patients to receive both services concurrently, especially in pediatric cases.

We recognize the overlap between the disciplines, and pride ourselves on therapists of different disciplines coordinating and bringing diverse perspectives to the plan for each patient.

Where can I receive therapy?

For adults, we offer therapy services in our Laurens and Greer offices. For pediatrics, we offer services in those clinics as well as in-home care in the greater upstate area, and will be offering services in the midlands and low country area late 2021
