Therapy services focused on improving quality of life

Starting Adult Services

Consult your Doctor, or schedule a walk-in

Doctor Referrals: Typically, our therapy services start with a referral from a medical doctor.

Meet with your doctor to determine if physical, occupational, or speech therapies are right for you. If therapy is recommended, your doctor will write a referral for services. You have the right to choose the company you would like to receive services from, and can inform your doctor of the choice to make the referral process easier.

Direct Access: South Carolina law permits direct access of patients to physical therapy without a referral, for a maximum of 30 days.

If you cannot see your doctor quickly enough, we are happy to schedule a direct access evaluation. We will then coordinate with your doctor if treatment should extend beyond the thirty days.

Evaluation

Therapy starts with an initial evaluation. Your therapist will work with you to determine your current capabilities, the goals specific to your situation, and a plan to achieve them.

Whether your goal is to eliminate pain, restore independence, or improve athletic performance, your therapy team will develop a clear, time based plan for the path forward.

Treatment/Post Treatment

As your treatment progresses, we will measure progress and recalibrate our methods until we reach your goals.

The most important factor for long term success is empowering patients with the skills and knowledge to maintain or even improve upon goals achieved in therapy. We will work with you to develop a long-term plan for maximal quality of life after rehabilitation.

“Each body is different,
therefore each rehabilitation must be different”
