Occupational Therapy is an appropriate therapy for a broad array of developmental issues in children.

The focus of our OT program is to assist children in developing age appropriate self-care skills in a fun, engaging environment. We specialize in providing service in the child’s natural environment, whether in the home or daycare. OT services are also offered in our Greer and Laurens clinics.

Children with all levels of abilities can benefit from occupational therapy, particularly those with the following difficulties:

  • Difficulties with concentration, including children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Difficulties with emotional and sensory regulation, including children on the autism spectrum, those with anxiety and/or challenging behaviours

  • Difficulties with coordination and/or fine and gross motor control, including children with Developmental Coordination Disorder

  • Difficulties to achieve expectations, including children with a Learning Disorder

  • Difficulties to achieve developmental stages, including children who present with neurological conditions
